Miele?
Did not expect this from a Miele product! Well, the suction and carpet cleaning as well as the noise level are all great as expected. But. The floor tool with roller brush is a pain to clean as it does not come apart as all the competitors ones do. You need to sit with scissors and tweezers. The dust canister is fiddly to get in and out and always sounds 1min away from breaking. The button to release the canister base is small and feels delicate. The extra bit to take out for large sucked up stuff is fiddly on the side of the canister. Aaand the plastic collar on the wand to attach the floor tool already cracked after a month.

First Class
Well impressed! Powerful suction, probably stronger than my previous miele. Love that it’s bagless & can be emptied after every use. Wand extension is super easy to move which is great as I don’t have a lot of strength in my hands. I only have a stair carpet & this is amazing at lifting dirt. Glides easily from stone tiles to hardwood floors. Extra long cable so don’t need to unplug/replig as much. This is my 3rd Miele in about 20 years. 1st one fell downstairs & couldn’t be switched off. 2nd still works perfectly but plastic handle snapped. Will seek out replacement. Can’t fault it. Have tried other well known top brands but nothing comes close to the Miele. Hughly recommend.

Very quiet. Great suction
Fantastic suction. Great features like easy release dust bin. Only issue is the same with all ‘pull alongs’. Space is an issue in smaller rooms with the body of the vacuum and doing stairs is difficult as you have to somehow balance the large body on the stairs.

Now that’s a good one
First I bought a handheld rechargeable miele but quickly realised that it wasn’t good for the whole house so I splurged on this one and couldn’t be happier. It’s bagless, strong and powerful and actually quite quiet. I am very happy with it!

Fantastic hoover
My Dyson finally broke after years of having it and I didn’t know what to get. I’m so happy that I went for this hoover. Nice and compact, but great suction and easy to use. Fantastic for our family, including 3 children and two dogs :) I would highly recommend this hoover, it’s bagless too which is another bonus 😊

Mixed feeling about this product.
I recently bought the Miele Blizzard Cat and Dog Vacuum bag less cleaner after my Miele C3 bagged Cat and Dog Vacuum started to produce problems with the lid and had to constantly be pressed down in order for it to suck correctly. It was an excellent cylinder cleaner which almost sucked up the carpet. I would have replaced it with the same model but it is out of production now. Instead, I opted for the Blizzard. What a huge disappointment! Like converting from a Lamborghini to a Ford Fiesta. For starters, it has less suction power as it promised. I have to vacuum the floor twice with the sweeping attachment, before it picks up the bits. It isn’t as light as the C3 and virtually impossible to lug up the stairs like a suitcase full of bricks and it is wide which makes staircase vacuuming, nerve racking in case it falls off the edge. It is large so if your rooms are well furnished, moving it around furniture is very awkward. The room smelt musty after vacuuming, like it was expelling the dust back into the air and despite the Hepa filter, my eyes swelled up like balloons after I vacuumed the bedrooms. I am really disappointed with Miele.

Hi Zhala,

Hi MACK
You would need to be more specific with the model of Dyson as they do vary with noise output. The Miele CX1 Blizzard Cat & Dog Bagless Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner has a noise output of 88 dB whereas vacuum cleaners in general operate at a noise level between 56 – 80 dB. A full-sized vacuum cleaner outputs a noise level of 70-80 dB so the Miele could be classed as quite noisy in comparison.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Pippy,
Yes, the Miele CX1 Blizzard Cat & Dog Bagless Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner includes a motorised floorhead.
