Best steamer I have ever had. Bought as a last Min purchase to take on holiday and I was surprised how well it worked, better than my normal steamer I now use this most days for quick crease removal. Also I used for a short dress that made it longer like an iron does. Works really well.

No, the Tefal Origin Travel DT1020 handheld steamer does not have a trigger lock. The steam trigger must be held down during use to produce steam.

No, Plugging a 220–240 V appliance into a 127 V supply will cause it to underperform or not heat at all, and can eventually damage the appliance.
A plug adaptor only changes the shape of the plug, not the electricity going through it.

Hi Tee. You should be okay to carry a garment steamer in hand luggage as with any electricals. You would need to check with the airline directly if there are an requirements i.e. emptying the water tank.
