Great device. Easy to set up and mount on the wall
Bought this as I wanted to get another ring device so they are connected on the same app. Easy set up, put it on an external wall. With the doorbell and the camera we can watch our house anytime. The camera light is bright and the lens covers most of the facade and garden.

Bigger than older models, easier to access the battery than before, great visibility night and day, Illumination from the camera lights are also much improved and light it a good sized garden well. Detection of cats, pigeons and people easliy adjusted through the app using the sensitivity slider. Range of the camera and view angle is great. No problem covering a wide area of some distance. Connectivity of the camera using the ring app is easy and straight forward. I would recommend a WiFi booster if your main modem for the internet is far away to give that extra WiFi coverage. I personally have one in the kitchen that helps boost the WiFi signal for the whole back garden area. Overall a great purchase and very satisfied, also good price as Argos had a discount code making it cheaper than Amazon.

I can advise that for installation of the Ring Spotlight Cam Plus Battery requires a Phillips-head screwdriver, a drill (if mounting on hard surfaces), the included mounting bracket, battery and a Wi-Fi connection.
