Great little machine once you get the hang of how much coffee, how far to twist the portafilter, how much milk, where to put the milk jug, what settings for the milk you use etc. Lovely coffee with oat milk though

Love my Bambino plus. I've had about 4 coffee machines over the years and thus is by far the best. Quick and easy to use and clean. Lovely silky foam.

No more Tassimo for us
Must be one of the best,easy to use coffee machines out there. Our niece had one and showed us how to use it so we bought this one. Never heard of the make before as we have only had Tassimo. We wanted to be able to make a coffee with oat milk and not the same old milk that comes in the pods. Plus the Tassimo packs have become expensive. We love this machine and you can make the coffee to suit your taste. We bought it when it was reduced and it's worth every penny.

After years of using a pod machine and getting to a stage where it was costing a fortune for capsules, I decided it was time to move up a stage and making coffee from scratch. I had limited “real estate” - just where I’d had my old *espresso machine, pod holder and frother- so I couldn’t really consider anything too big, especially as I needed to accommodate a decent grinder, so the decision was really Bambino or Bambino Plus. Checking reviews and speaking with a pal who’d bought one a couple of years ago, I decided that a Plus was worth the additional cash and that’s where I ended up. It’s a really good little machine out of the box and with a couple of important additions it’s a great one. You’ll read a lot about the portafilter and its plastic insert and the tamper, which is “ok”, but once you replace these, you have a really great machine that produces coffee that’s way better than you’ll get at your local, high street shop. Learning to dial in your brew is something you’ll need to do come what may but as for the rest of it, it’s really straightforward to use.

Bambino Plus is Great
Very happy with the Bambino Plus but extremely unhappy about the Baratza Encore ESP Pro that I bought to use with it. It is grossly miscalibrated and Baratza support make promises when chased but do not fix the problem in over a month and I hear nothing. Not what I expected from Baratza. The Bambino Plus is an easy to use machine which I fully recommend to anyone wanting a basic espresso machine.

Nice machine
Really good little machine that paired with a good grinder produces great results. Only slight niggles for me are the very small drip tray requiring constant emptying and the way it slides about so much on the worktop, I’ll have to look into some better grippy pads on the bottom but really it should do a little better in this regard even though it is pretty lightweight.
