Love the machine. Found it easy to use after watching a few YouTube videos. Makes me wonder I went without for so long. It does make you realise that the coffee served in certain shops really isn’t that great. I also had a subscription when buying the machine-yes I wasted a bit when ‘dialling in’ through trial and error, but once you crack it, it’s great. Grind size 15 is a good starting point, although size 13 was ideal for me.

An upgrade, with a few trade-offs
I moved to the Barista Pro™ after many years with the Barista Express™, which I really liked. The Pro heats up much faster and looks more solid and modern, though I personally miss the manual pressure gauge on the Express™. My main issues are practical ones: the multi-hole steam tip seems to block more easily than the single-hole design on the Express™, and the steam capacity feels just about enough for making milk for two drinks, especially from cold milk. Overall, it’s a good machine, but if I were choosing again, I might either stick with the Barista Express™ or consider another model.

Great machine with good functionality
Bought this machine a month ago based on the fact my brother in law has got one and really likes it. Had a Creatista Plus machine before. It's taken a bit of getting used to and trial and error and I now feel like I've got to grips with things and enjoying using the machine. I've still got a lot to learn about the milk side of things but I see this as part of the experience and it doesn't detract from being able to make great tasting coffee.

Bought it as it was recommended by a friend woks6 well enough but could do with a decent tamper the one supplied is a bit meh and perhaps a bottomless portafilter rather than the supplied version it comes with.

I bought this as an upgrade to the Barista Express, & I am very pleased with it. While still retaining the personal adjustment to grind and dose, it makes the whole process easier. Very quick heat up time too.

Barista Pro - A month of ownership
I have had the Barista Pro about a month now. It is a great machine with all the facilities needed to get anyone started on their home expresso journey. The machine comes with all items needed to make a great coffee. The machine is easy to setup, starts really quickly, is now used on a daily basis and is also easy to clean. It takes some time and coffee to get it 'dialled in' but this is all part of the expresso experience. Provides a nice balance between auto and manual activities to suit most users levels of skill and needs. Go get yourself one and welcome to the wormhole that is home coffee!!!!!

The 3 year Argos electrical warranty runs along side any manufacturers warranty and give 3 years in total.
Please note the extended 3 year warranty does provide extra cover.
