I bought this as an upgrade to the Barista Express, & I am very pleased with it. While still retaining the personal adjustment to grind and dose, it makes the whole process easier. Very quick heat up time too.

Barista Pro - A month of ownership
I have had the Barista Pro about a month now. It is a great machine with all the facilities needed to get anyone started on their home expresso journey. The machine comes with all items needed to make a great coffee. The machine is easy to setup, starts really quickly, is now used on a daily basis and is also easy to clean. It takes some time and coffee to get it 'dialled in' but this is all part of the expresso experience. Provides a nice balance between auto and manual activities to suit most users levels of skill and needs. Go get yourself one and welcome to the wormhole that is home coffee!!!!!

Great machine that delivers great coffee with lots of control
So a little over a month of ownership of my Pro and all good so far. Not a novice of proper coffee, but have changed to the more ‘manual’ control of my coffee with the Pro from my previous full-auto coffee machine ….. the on-line tutorials for certain helped me to get started - brilliant idea - and I have checked back a few times to remind me of a few things. Still experimenting with grind size etc and will probably tweak things when using different beans into the future. Very easy, great to have those options. Machine looks good, not as bulky as I was a little concerned it might have appeared. Great to see bean hopper status - so simple to top up. Whilst water tank very easy to see fill volume and remove, I have a plastic jug I keep nearby solely to top this up - it is the easiest method I have found. Volume of water tank and drip tray more than my previous machine and this makes life easier. Luckily realised I needed a Knock Box and Bench saver tamp mat when I bought - not needing either previously, very happy with the Sage branded ones. Note: the Pro will not accept extra tall mugs or travel mugs underneath the portafilter. When needed, I have simply made my coffee into a normal height mug then tipped it into my tall travel mug - not a problem! Loving my coffee, loving the experimenting, a tiny bit more involved when making a cup but once you get used to it really not a problem Enjoy!!

Never disappointed
Bought this about 3 weeks ago to replace an older Sage Barista express machine. The previous machine was excellent and was still going after 20 years! It was a no brainer to select another Sage Machine. I am just as impressed with my new machine as I was with the old one. Technology has moved on and so has the Sage Coffee Machine. It is easier to get consistency of quality coffee and I love it! The steam wand is a real improvement and the custom shot setting. Coffee is delicious . The machine has a similar footprint to the old one. Is used 4 or 5 times a day every day! A superb use of the space. You could ask no more of a home machine that gives better coffee than most shop bought coffees. I would enthusiastically recommend this machine. Thank you Sage… worth every penny.

Buy to enjoy a coffee experience
I bought this product as was needing a new coffee machine and a friend owned a recommended a Sage. This coffee machine certainly looks the part, there’s a little bit of set up to make sure the grind is the correct coarseness and the grind time is long enough to fill the pot, overall this isn’t too hard to do & the results is a great crema. I’d say this is better than the base model as you also don’t need to wait 30 seconds for it to heat up as it’s ready in a mere 3 seconds, I would say if you like Americanos hot you’d need to top it up with boiling water from a kettle vs the water function on the machine as it’s not quite hot enough As with all these things it’s partly to do with the beans you buy so I’d recommend getting as fresh as possible and an airscape to keep them fresher for longer Other features include a steam wand, the one on this machine is bigger than the base model and this really shows when using it, in no time at all you’ve got perfectly microfoamed milk & a perfect latte which could pass in most coffee shops Overall very happy and would recommend getting this

Excellent piece of kit , my son gets up early now to make himself a coffee , bit pricey but well worth it , easy enough to clean, I don’t think there is anything bad about this machine ,
