Great smart bulb
Easy to set up. Just make sure you install the correct app Tapo, not Tado. I like the way you can set it to come on at sunset and go off at a specific time. You can also adjust the brightness, so don't worry if you think it is too bright.

After a disappointing visit to a trade show hoping to pick up a cheap (er) WiFi camera light for my garage security. I had the idea of using a WiFi bulb in the garage with a spare WiFi camera I had. The Tapo saved me pounds. Bright idea? Smart! No issue encountered in setting up the WiFi link and the dimmable feature is a bonus.

Easy to set up and create schedules
This was bought to replaced a bulb in an outside light which had just failed. It was easy to set up and then set some scheduled so that it follows turning on 15mins after dusk, dimming part of the way through the night and then turns off 30mins before dawn.

Great for home security
Have bought several of these smart bulbs, they suit our Tapo security camera system, but think they can operate stand alone, just need the Tapo app. Great for turning lights on and off randomly while not at home, they work with Wi-Fi or phone data. Really pleased with this purchase and Argos are always very easy to place orders with, their communication is great and staff at collection very friendly.

Wanted a dawn-to-dusk porch light but couldnt find a style i liked and found them expensive. I bought some Tapo wifi plugs to use on house lamps and found the smart bulbs. Doddle to fit, saved loads on changing the whole light fitting, easy to connect, app works well for times/dimming. So much nicer going to work and coming home with enough light to lock the front door!

"This L510E Tapo bulb model is warm white and can be used in 10w lamp holder as its rated 8.7w".

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the TP-Link Tapo L510E E27 White Dimmable Smart Wi-Fi Bulb: Yes, the Tapo APP has a setting for this bulb for Sunrise turning ON/OFF feature. You can even apply an offset to the sunrise time.
