The Habitat Ellis Toddler Bed Frame with Storage helps your little one move from cot to big bed with confidence. It's low to the floor so they can climb in and out by themselves, that's a lovely independence boost at bedtime. Made from solid wood, so it's sturdy enough to handle everyday use and supports children from 18 months onwards. The white finish fits into most bedroom styles and keeps things feeling light and fresh. There's a storage drawer included that rolls out on castors when you need it.
Extra long guard rails sit 20cm high to prevent rolling out while they're asleep. The underbed drawer tucks away neatly, ideal for stashing spare bedding, toys or clothes when floor space is tight. Wooden slats are included, so you just need a standard toddler mattress at 140x70cm. Self-assembly with one person recommended, and it's tested to British and European safety standards. Comes with a one-year guarantee.

Great little bed
I bought this recently for my granddaughter whi has just turned 2. It took a while to put together but I managed it myself and it looks very good. It's a shame the drawer is made so that it fits just on one side, however, I have pushed it under the bed on the opposite side and nobody would know. Seems quite robust and the storage is useful.

Great little bed!
Very happy with this bed, built and have used for two weeks now. Easy enough to build but get a tape measure handy as you need one for accurate placement of the bed slats. Go steady with the glue usage (provided) as you’ll run out unless you’re reserved with it. Bed itself is fab, just what we needed and the built-in guard rails have worked a treat (child has not fallen out as yet!)

Fantastic bed
Lovely little toddler bed, looks very nice at a bargain price! The draw is perfect to store stuff under the bed without it look a mess. The side rails ensure my wriggly little boy doesnt fall out rather than using the ugly bed guards. Feels very sturdy for toddlers. Would 100% recommend it

Canny Bed for a toddler
Bought for my one year old, seems sturdy enough and build quality is what you would expect for the price, one or two bits of the finish on the wood were marked and damaged but I chose to sort them myself as it didn’t effect the overall structure of the bed. Would probably Recomend to a friend if they were after a toddler bed, good price and convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great storage bed for toddlers
Storage has a lot of space it, my little on can get in and out of the bed with no difficulty. Very sturdy and very safe to use. Was rather easy to put together.

Good transition bed for a toddler and love the railings included. The parts were not numbered or labelled which added extra time to the assembly. They also gave us incorrect screws and so we had to buy these separate

On this model, the bed slats sit directly on the fixed side rails, so the underside of the slats aligns with the underside of the bed frame rails.
Therefore, the height from the floor to the bed slats is 19.5 cm.

The Ellis toddler bed is tested to BS 8509 safety and strength standard.
The bed base is tested with 1.000 Newton/100 kg. 10.000 times with an Ø20cm loading pad in 2 positions on the bed base.
So yes, I would say it can carry the weight of a toddler and an adult, which can be side by side in a 70cm wide toddler bed.
The width 70cm and the length of the bed 140cm automatically give some limits, so we do not think there is space for more than a total weight of a toddler and an adult up to 100 kg.

There is 20.1cms from the bed slats to the upper edge of the safety rail. With a 10cm mattress there will be 10.1cm left back above the mattress, which is enough to stop the child from rolling out of the bed.
