Wrong argos recommendation
Bought it together with printer. Argos website recommend me this cartridge for my printer, which turned out to be completely wrong. Now as I did open it I cannot return it. I have spent 48 £ for this cartridge and it's completely useless. I would expect from agros if they recommend something as suitable for my printer it would be right. Now I left with opened toner which I cannot use.

Disastrous experience
Won’t be buying toner cartridges again from Argos. I spent £49 on a toner cartridge suggested on the Argos website. Turned out it didn’t fit. When l went to return it, they told me l couldn’t as l had opened the packet. What a waste of money that was! Be very careful if you order cartridges from Argos. Make sure they fit

normal toner purchase. searched for supplier as needed immediately. found in a branch of argos. would have been helpful had the machine told me level of toner left so i could plan for replacement as toner lasts for ages and not economical to have a spare awaiting use.

For the MCF-L2860DWE you need the Brother TN2510 Black Toner Cartridge.

This prints up to 1,000 pages in accordance with ISO/IEC 19752. The test is based on a single page (monochrome) printed consecutively until the cartridge reaches end-of-life. A cartridge is determined to be at end-of-life when the test pages fade or, for some printers, when the printer automatically stops due to end-of-life detection. This refers to A4 pages so if you are not using A4 pages, this may last longer.
