Nice large cage
I bought 2 cages and they were a bit of a pain to put together, and unfortunately both lots of bottles leaked badly ( I emailed the company and they sent out new bottles, which work great now.) My Syrian hamsters love the tiered aspect of the cage, plenty big enough for them to play and exercise in.

Not suitable for Syrian hamsters
Had to return this as when I went to buy the hamster the pet shop said this cage wasn’t suitable for Syrian hamsters as it’s too small. The box has a picture of a Syrian hamster on so it’s very misleading. This cage is only suitable for dwarf hamsters.

Nice cage
I bought this a few weeks ago as my hamster only had a temporary cage. I was disappointed as one of the levels was broken where you hook it on. It still worked so didn't think I needed to send it back. The next day I discovered that the water bottle was empty. It leaked big time, did everything to try and stop it. In the end I went onto the makers website and bought a new one. It was only a couple of quid, no postage fee and received it the next day. It works well no leaks. Apart from that I love the cage and so does my hamster!

Happy hamster home
This cage is lovely for a little animal. I really like all the different levels and gives the hamster a chance to exercise a bit more than the old cages. However, I feel like it took ages to set up, getting everything in the right place. Also the water bottle it came with leaks completely to the point of emptying and you have to leave it in place or the hamster could get out so I had to get a second bottle and attach it to the cage. Other than those small issues it's lovely

Not at all adequate for keeping a hamster. Very flimsy. Nothing really holds the cage down onto the base. You can buy better for less at pet shops. We returned the cage same day!

Good size and lots of areas for the hamster. Bottle leaks if not done properly and is a bit small. Wheel is silent going around but can still hear the hamster on the wheel, his feet on it!!!

NO! THIS IS VERY SMALL, NOT XL! NEITHER OF THESE CAGES ARE BIG ENOUGH FOR ANY GERBIL, HAMSTER, MOUSE OR, ESPECIALLY, RATS! PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE! The bare Minimum size for a dwarf hamster should be 80x50, a Syrian 100x50, that is unbroken floor space, not levels, which hamsters are prone to falling from! These cages are CRUEL, your hamsters are really not happy in them! They should have deep bedding for them to burrow! The wheels are not big enough for any of them! Literally no good!!
Unfortunately Syrian hamsters need minimum of 100cm wide cages and dwarf hamsters 80cm this cage is not suitable for any small animal as it falls short of the minimum.

DO NOT BUY THIS CAGE! Ethical hamster cage requirements in the UK are MINIMUM cage dimensions 100x50cm unbroken space for all hamsters, including dwarf species. In particular, advice is to avoid multiple levels and tubes. This cage is totally unsuitable and is now considered unethical. Rescue centres and reputable pet shops, including many Pets at Home stores, will not sell you a hamster for this cage. Please see Blue Cross website for cage advice.
