Fantastic coffee machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this coffee machine because my son has purchased one and he's very pleased with his, I am very happy with it also, we both usually drink black coffee and the taste is very good, I have tried a flat white which was ok but the milk wasn't very hot, I wasn't bothered because the main drink for me is black coffee.

Tearing my hair out with this machine I have had for less than a year. It now appears to be on terminal breakage after several smaller issues that I have always eventually managed to fix after hours of googling (since the instruction manual is useless) but this latest problem seems to be unfixable.

This machine looks good quality and i like all the features and fuctionality on it. The ease of being fully automated is a game changer.However i can only give 4 stars for this coffee machine due to milk froth not being hot enough to make a cappucino.You have to put your coffee in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds which is really annoying.

The coffee element of each drink is brewed at 90 – 95°C, which is the ideal range for extraction and full flavour. The EQ500 is calibrated to increase the temperature of milk by approximately 40-50 degrees Celsius which results in the optimum temperature for a milk based drink without the risk of burning the milk, and ready to drink immediately.
The serving temperature will depend on the starting temperature of the milk. To increase the serving temperature we would recommend removing your milk container from the fridge in advance and pre-heating your mug with boiling water from the machine.
