Nice low budget camera.
For the price a fantastic little camera giving good quality images. I was looking for a low budget security camera to monitor the bomings and goings in my back garden and is ideal. Memory card fitted so no subscription fees. Simple to install and connectivity very good, camera is fitted on an outside wall approx 8 metres from hub and no problems with loss or stalling of picture.

Delivery was very swift and packaging excellent. The cameras are easy to fit although setting up can take a couple of goes. Image quality is good and there are a number of options in terms of use.

It depends on the recording schedule you configure. The C320WS supports continuous recording.
You can set up a recording schedule on the Tapo app > Camera's Device Settings > Storage & Recording > Recording Schedule page, and customize the time periods for detection recording or continuous recording. During the detection recording period, the camera will only record when triggered by a detected event.
Please note that to enable continuous recording, you need a microSD card. Insert the microSD card into the camera and initialize it using the Tapo app.

If you have many cameras you can buy a H500 Tapo hub and a small HDDSSD hard drive which is what I did so lots of memory instead of separate sd card

The supplier has advised the following for the Tapo C320WS 2K Outdoor Wi-Fi Security Camera:
"You do not need an SD card to use the camera. The SD card is mainly for local video storage. You can set up and use your Tapo camera without an SD card, and it will still work for functions like live view and cloud recording (if you subscribe to Tapo Care). However, if you want to store recordings locally on the camera, you will need to insert a microSD card. You can also choose to use cloud storage via Tapo Care, which does not require an SD card. Without either Tapo Care or an SD card, you can manually record from live view, but only while the Tapo app is open and active.
If you decide to use a microSD card, you can insert it after setup, and you’ll be prompted to format it in the app for compatibility. Please note that formatting will erase all existing data on the card."

You don't need an SD card for the initial setup. The SD card is primarily used for local video storage. However, the camera can function without it during the setup process. You can insert an SD card for the local recording after setting up the camera.

Yes it can,i have just bought the tapo C320ws and it can be mounted vertically or under eves,2 mountain positions not just on a vertical wall.
