Ideal plug
The Bluetooth allows easy setup unlike some other smart devices that use only 2.4 wifi for discovery. This plug is also compact so doesn't block an adjacent socket. It doesn't have power monitoring like the p110 but not sure it's anything most people really need so the p105's size is a real advantage.

Slim smart plug which is easy to set up and use.
I already have several smart plugs (not Tapo) but this Tapo P105 is slim and doesn’t encroach on the on/off switch like the others do. It was the easiest to set up via the Tapo app, connecting right away to my router. It works a treat, controlled from my phone (or you can press the little button on the side of the plug to turn on/off but that defeats the object of a smart plug :-D). I can’t fault it. Argos had it at the best price and was available at my local store.

I love this . it was so easy to set up and is reliable. You can override it on your phone but it will still remember the settings the next day. Excellent value and I would definitely recommend .

Brilliant piece of kit for Wi-Fi control of device
Bought this plug recently and perfect for my needs.Very easy to connect to Wi-Fi with great response. Timer and schedule functions excellent. Price at Argos was unbeatable. Brilliant piece of kit.

The Tapo P105 is not designed to automatically delay powering on a connected device after a power outage has been restored.
After power is restored, the plug will follow its configured Power State settings (such as On, Off, or Last State), but it cannot automatically introduce a delayed startup period following an unexpected power interruption.

Tapo and Kasa are two distinct smart home brands under TP-Link, each with its own app for device management. Manage Tapo Devices in Kasa App: Most Tapo devices aren't compatible with the Kasa app, except for the Tapo temperature & humidity sensors (like Tapo T310/T315) and Tapo contact sensor (like Tapo T110). So Tapo P105 cannot work with kasa app.

Typically, the product will work fine in the country where you buy it. It's not recommended to purchase products and use them in different countries because there will always be slight differences in the products due to different standards in each country. Additionally, TP-Link does not implement a global warranty.

When the plug is on, this will consume power from the device/s that is connected to it. Assuming you mean when there is nothing connected to it and the plug is switched off within itself and not at the socket that it's not connected too, then it does still use a low level amount of power to allow it to still be connected to the internet and controlled from the app.

The total power draw of the devices plugged into the extension lead does not exceed 1800W (which is the rated capacity of the P105).
