Easy to connect, instructions limited
The instructions invite you to download the app and follow it from there. If you've used apps to connect to WiFi before it is fairly simple. The only thing I initially failed to understand was that to connect to your WiFi, the plug creates it's own WiFi hotspot and you have to connect your tablet/phone to that network. You can then enter your SSID and password and then it's all done. Connecting to the Amazon Echo was straight forward.

Tapo smart plugs do not support the looping switch function, such as "turning on for 10 mins and then off for 1 min". or an Auto-reboot schedule every day.
1. You can set two schedules within a short time to turn off and then turn on the plug.
2. If your scenario involves longer intervals, like one hour, the below method by using automation might meet your needs: create multiple "Turn on" and "Turn off" action commands and insert a "Delay Action" as a time interval between them. Up to 128 Actions can be added in one automation.

Additionally, the timer feature could help to set a countdown timer to automatically turn the smart device on or off after a certain amount of time.
