The Cookworks 5L Air Fryer uses high-speed air circulation to cook favourites with a tiny drizzle of oil, delivering crunch and flavour faster. Its 1600W power heats quickly, and 10 pre-set programmes, including fish, steak, drumsticks, cake and vegetables, offer options for every meal. Temperature adjusts from 50 to 200 degrees, and the digital timer keeps cooking on track. The 5L capacity handles 3 to 4 portions, with a max food capacity of 1kg, ideal for family dinners without crowding your worktop.
The non-stick detachable drawer and basket lift out easily and go straight in the dishwasher, and the safety cut-out gives you extra peace of mind. It fits neatly on your counter, and the cable gives you placement flexibility. You'll get a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee included.

Impressive air fryer currently at a great price.
I bought this as a smaller unit to use alongside a Ninja DT200UK that I also bought from Argos 4 years ago. Although I've only had the Cookworks 5L Airfyer a week I'm very impressed it and use it daily. It's quiet in operation, heats up quickly and cooks evenly. The control panel is simple and intuitive although I doubt that I'll ever use the "Pre-set" functions. The basket is a bit of an oddball size but I've managed to find some silicone liners from B+M Stores and Home Bargains. The basket will take a maximum of 180mm square and I can fit a 200mm square liner in the outer container although Argos/Cookworks will not recommend using it this way as without the basket, there's no handle to safely remove the outer container so there's a risk of touching hot surfaces. I was influenced to buy this as it was reduced from £60 to £40 but now knowing how well it performs I wouldn't have beem disappointed if I'd paid the full price.

Saves me on energy costs as the cavity is smaller then a conventional oven it also cooks all the way through in half the time, And the flavour is very different and yummy compared a conventional oven

Exactly what I wanted

Excellent machine
This is a brilliant little air fryer. This is my first draw type air fryer and my old air fryer was the oven type. I first cooked frozen chips in it and they cooked really well on the preset time, and the warm up time. From there everything else I cooked was just perfect. I would and do recommend this air fryer to anyone wanting to try a very reasonable priced air fryer

"There is no indicator for when the air fryer reaches temperature. This model does feature a preheat function so you can heat the air fryer before you place the food into the draws. The preheat function will heat the air fryer to the chosen temperature within 3 mins before shutting off."
