It’s not bad
Bought few weeks ago, had to take it back as it got so hot and overheated and the suction bit stopped working. Anyway new one is superb works great. When hoovering suction with the hoover head on don’t feel that strong but it does pick up. It is quite heavy to hold after a few minutes.

I’m really disappointed with this hoover. The suction power is extremely poor — it barely picks up even small bits of dirt, let alone anything more stubborn. I’ve tried it on different floor types and the result is the same every time: it just doesn’t clean properly

No, this model has a motorised rotating brush bar. For loop pile carpets, it is usually better to use a vacuum with a "suction-only" head.
