Recommended Binoculars
These are superb. I have used them for bird spotting and for watching aircraft at local airport. They do what they should. Good size and excellent viewing quality. Easy to focus and stay focussed. The protective caps and case are also very good. Thanks Celestrion.

Good for nature, with a good close focus range
I bought these locally when on holiday after I discovered that I had left my usual, similar ones at home, so now we have a second pair which my partner can use when we are out and about in nature reserves. I find them quite decent, about right for the money. They have independently adjustable dioptre on the right eyepiece which is essential if you have one eye weaker than the other: I find that they have a minimum close focus range of about 8ft - (bearing in mind that I am a bit longsighted - people with normal or corrected vison may be able to focus on objects which are a little closer) - I need close focus because I use them as much for viewing insects (butterflies, beetles) as for birds. These work very well for me in that respect. No regrets buying them.

Hi Nikki,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Celestron Nature DX 10x42 Binoculars: You would firstly need a tripod adapter (sold separately, but not at Argos unfortunately). Celestron Item code 93524.
Secondly, any tripod would be suitable with a weight rating of at least 750 grams. Celestron do not have any tripods available on Argos, however I can see one from another brand rated at 2.5KG (195/9741).
Thank you for using Q & A.
