Your experience can always vary depending on the specific environment, but generally a 250gsm sleeping bag would be suitable for summer and autumn. Winter sleeping bags would be in excess of 400gsm.
This isn't intended for winter, which is also consistent with the Tog 9 rating - typically you would expect 12+ Tog for cold winter conditions.

The double sleeping bag has a full 2 way zip that runs round the edge of the bag which when undone can separate the top part from the bottom. The top sheet and bottom sheet are then folded over and can be zipped up to form 2 separate single sleeping bags.
