One 850 watt base powers two appliances: a full-sized hand mixer and hand blender. Brilliant for smooth soups, mousses, ice-creams
I purchased this hand blender a few months ago, as I really wanted to test it before posting my reviews, due to other reviews. I've used a hand blender and whisk for a number of years and brought this, as a replacement as I could see my old one, it was starting to go. The hand blender makes quick work of soups and you are left with a smooth mixture in minutes, you just need to be careful as the blender has alot of power and I nearly lost my soup to the walls. So I now make sure that I start the blender on the lowest setting and build it up. The whisk attachment is amazing for making waffles, ice-creams and mousses. Especially if you need to whisk the egg whites, as this is done really quickly. An amazing piece of kitchen kit and while you can get the same type of thing cheaper, this hand blender/mixer, is alot more powerful then my previous cheap one. One comment - Like all the Ninja Blenders, it can be noisy at top spreed (Like a plane taking off), but due to the power it has, you don't need to use it for long. I also purchased the extra whisks and they are worth paying the extra to get.

I've given this 3 stars as I'm very mixed about this review, I absolutely love the mixer, however on using it for the third time it started cutting out, I left it ten minutes and tried again and the same thing happened, so unfortunately I'm returning it.

Ninja blender and mixer
I bought this liquidisor about a week ago because the one I had broke. I paid a bit more for a good one which has proved to be money well spent. I am looking forward to using the mixing blades to make a cake or a batter for pancakes or Yorkshire puddings. It is heftier than the one that broke but it is easy to use and easy to keep clean.
