One 850 watt base powers two appliances: a full-sized hand mixer and hand blender. Simply switch between the lightweight attachments to create everything from soups, sauces, purees and dips to cake mixes and batters. The Power Base automatically recognises the attachment in use and adjusts the available speed ranges. Bought this hand blender recently. Feels sturdy, and after quite a few liquidized hot and cold soups, we are very happy with it. Just a bit of warning, the bell is quite deep and needs to be fully immersed to prevent splashing....

Bought this as getting fed up of hauling out the big blender to make soup. Good weight to the unit and the added extra attachment of the whisk. The blender was handy when the gravy went lumpy as well! Always have been a fan of Ninja and this does not disappoint.
