My previous mouse had been double clicking and failing on the scroll wheel, so decided to try a different brand this time. So far very happy with it. Has all the extra buttons I was looking for at an affordable price, and optional weights to change the feel as needed. Comfortable in the hand, although perhaps a tad big for me.

Too narrow and slopes to the right, if place your hand to reach the button for the thumb it forces your wrist to rotate right, thus the slight twist after repetive use hurts. No point buy a writs rest as it the mouse that not right/

The Logitech G502 Hero does not have a dedicated triple fire button, it has 11 programmable buttons - programmed via the Logitech GHub application - documentation available on the Logitech website.

Yes it does have a metal scroll wheel. You can set it to click via a button and scroll several lines at once like a traditional set-up or you can switch the button off to allow it to free scroll infinitely, handy for web browsing
