About this product
Here's your secret weapon for cutting through laundry day faster. The Tefal Express Airglide Steam Generator Iron delivers continuous steam from its powerful system, helping you tackle wrinkles on delicate silks to heavy cottons with ease. The Ultraglide durilium soleplate glides smoothly across fabrics, while One Temp technology lets you move between garments without fiddling with temperature dials. When stubborn creases need extra persuasion, the steam boost helps, and the steam tip reaches tricky spots around buttons and collars other irons struggle with.
With a substantial water tank, you can work through plenty of items before needing to refill, and the dry tank alert gives you a heads-up when it's time. Ready in just minutes from switching on, this steam generator makes vertical steaming a breeze for freshening hanging garments or curtains without taking them down. The auto shut-off feature adds peace of mind if you get distracted, whilst the anti-scale function keeps maintenance straightforward. With handy cord storage, it's got everything you need for efficient ironing. Comes with a manufacturer's guarantee.

Best iron ever
Incredible my ironing task was made easy, got 3 loads of washing ironed in 1 hour half the time it would normally take, and such a quality finish it produced.

Quite flimsy
Not as robust as my previous Tefal. Feels quite flimsy and takes longer to do a pile of ironing

Brilliant iron
Best iron, the iron itself is light weight and glides over clothes easy and speeds up ironing time, would highly recommend, and having the steam button on ensures no creases...even on linen clothing

Descaling
This iron is great not having any settings, however, after only 1 use I had brown muck come out of the steam holes. The iron was up to temperature and there was no indication to say it needed descaling at that time.

Looks good
I purchased this as I thought I was getting the best of the best however, I have massive problems with limescale. I do live in a hard water area so constant cleaning is essential. I have to clean the plate all the time. I always empty the water tank but every time I use and refill I have limescale spitting through the iron. I’m really fed up with it. It’s cost me a lot of money.

Good pressure, steam generating iron
I bought this steam generating iron for pressing bedding for four holiday cottages. I’d say it is a great mid-range steam iron that is reasonably priced. The iron heats quickly and although it does not have a range of temperatures, the heat and steam generated penetrates through two layers easily reducing the time to press a super king duvet cover. Overall I am pleased with this purchase.

Express steamer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this tefal express for a few months now and honestly made getting wrinkles out of cloths so much simpler. It heats up quickly and the steam output is strong enough to smooth out most shirts , dresses and even jackets.

Fantastic results
The Tefal Express Tefal Airglide Steam Generator Iron is very sturdy and well made. The tank is a very good size, allowing you to do several loads of ironing before needing to refill it. I love the design of the iron plate, curved and pointy to get into the corners of clothes as needed. The iron is lightweight. It heats up fairly quickly. There is cord storage on the base which is practical. I do feel that being able to stand the iron up would be helpful during the ironing process, rather than having to set it on the base each time. I also find the handle a little short and too vertical for comfortable use over an extended period of time. The clothes are very well ironed though and the stream is powerful.

Impressive results! Great product!
Really happy with the Tefal Express Airglide. Really easy to set up and straight forward to use. This has a fast heat up time which is perfect when in a rush and an added security auto off feature which is great for peace of mind. Such an efficient product with a great glide. 10/10. Would recommend!
