Not worth money when items missing
I bought this for my car after recommendations and the fact it was supposed to have the micro sad card in I was totally annoyed it did not have it and ended up spending more money for one . Still cannot get footage on iPhone ended using my sons Samsung to get recordings definitely more trouble than it was worth wishing I had got another make

I’m still waiting to get it installed. It would have come with the hardwire wires free, but none in stock. Such a shame. I wil however just plug it in the 12v wires are long enough for that and for rear

Great dashcam at a good price
Once you dig your way around all of the features in the app when it’s connected, it’s great. I have a Nextbase 522gw in my other car and it’s hard work to get those videos off. This is much easier. With the body of the camera was tillable rather than the little camera bit. Would be more flexible. You can turn the view on the rear. Smear once it’s connected…..wish I knew that before sticking it on and having to run the wire another direction! Good clear image. It’s quite wide so it does pick up wipers and dash glare a bit. Happy so far.

If you chose to hardwire the dash cam you will need to purchase the additional cables separately.

The front camera can be slid off the mounting plate and unplugged so can be removed. The rear camera can not be removed but it is very small. If the connecting cable is routed discreetly then the rear camera is barely noticeable.

I can confirm that the Road Angel Halo Pro Front/Rear Dash Cam are fixed using 3M pads, so they are not 'easily' removed as they are secured to the windows.

The camera only records continuously in parking mode. The mode can be selected from the app. The camera also has settings to protect the car battery.

I can advise the following for the Road Angel Halo Pro Front/Rear Dash Cam and SD Card:
It's not required, but will look better if hardwired, continuous recording is only active when hardwired. Battery usage will be down to how often the car is driven for the alternator to recharge the battery. If left standing for a long time then the battery will deplete a little quicker as this will use a few volts of electricity to run.
