Easy to set up and use.
Been using this for two weeks now and I am very happy with how it works. Was easy to set up and use with my phone. I like the fact that if you hit a bump in the road it automatically stores the video before and after the bump to your phone so no need to do anything. So if you have a accident it will do the same. I think it is a perfect bit of kit and I'm more confident that I will now have a vidio on my phone and do not have to mess around downloading it to a computer. I would recommend this especially to those who are not very tech savvy.

Great camera, discrete and smart.
I purchased this for my partner as you can never be too careful these days, especially with children in the car. The camera is very discrete, looks very smart and camera is great! The 24 hour recording is a must to protect your vehicle at night. Would recommend the hard wiring kit as it looks tidy and no messy wires.

From the information we have available, I can advise The Road Angel Halo Go Front Dash Cam does have a built-in Parking Mode, but for it to function effectively, especially at night, it needs to be hardwired. When hardwired, the camera can automatically enter Parking Mode after 15 minutes of inactivity and will resume normal recording if the G-Sensor detects any movement or impact.
Using the cigarette lighter alone won't provide the continuous power required for Parking Mode to operate overnight. Hardwiring ensures the dash cam has a constant power supply, enabling it to monitor your vehicle even when the engine is off.

The Road Angel Halo Go Front Dash Cam and SD Card uses a smart app: In the event of an accident or if you just want to keep a recording, you can select the exact time you want to download, trim/edit the clip, and save it to your phone. You can even export the saved footage to WhatsApp, email, or social media from within the HALO smartphone App.
