Good toaster for the cost
Toaster looks good from the front with wide opening for thicker bread or bagels. The top surface is stainless steel rather than black which is what I was aiming for. There is one temperature control for all 4 slices rather than left and right side controls as on old toaster. Consistency of toasting is good

The four slots are split into 2 x 2 - thats about as independent as it gets. You can put 2 slices or 4 slices down. However, all the other controls toasting power, cancel, defrost will operate for for all four slots at one time. So if you put two slices down, then add another 2 after a minute, as soon as you cancel all 4 will pop up.

Each 2 slotted side can be use independently from each other. However, the main controls in the middle are for both sides at the same time. You won't be able to set one side to 5 and the other to 3.

They do not record the dimensions for the slots. They advise though that "All our Toasters will fit a standard slice of bread.
