This Tonie is by far mine and my son’s favourite as far as the physical Tonie itself goes; it is beautifully hand painted and my son enjoys using it for imaginary play. I like Imelda Staunton’s reading of the story. I have only taken off one star because the introduction at the start of this Tonie before it gets into the story itself seems to be longer than that of others (unsure whether it actually is or if I’m just imagining it) and my son switches off and replaces it with another Tonie instead so we haven’t yet listened to this one all the way through, despite this being one of his favourite books.

A little too long
We love the stick man story, but find it’s a little bit long with little waits in between parts. My 2 year old hasn’t listened to this all the way through yet.

Good story and great character to play with
A lovely story we often listen to at bathtime, the character is a favourite with my little one. Its a bit longer than other Julia Donaldson Tonies and the music isn’t quite as polished, so we don’t enjoy this as much, but it’s a good one for the collection when we want to listen to something new.

Granddaughters favourite toy
Since buying this for my Granddaughters 4th birthday she had not stopped playing it every hour she can. It’s driving my son and fiancée nuts. Absolute payback

It’s okay
We love stickman! We love the book, the film and I was hoping we’d love this tonie as much too. My little girl loves the songs and the games at the end but she doesn’t like how the narrator talks. I would have to agree. The lady who reads out Julia Donaldson books for tonie needs replacing. She’s overstimulating and very jarring. But otherwise I’m happy but would love a relaunch with a new author
