The Philips steamer is praised for its convenience and quick heating, making it ideal for travel and quick touch-ups. However, some users find it less effective on thicker fabrics and note a small water tank as a limitation.

I recommend
This is doing exactly what it offers. It is very quick to warm up. It is very good for quick touch up or iron a tshirt , pullover or even shirt. I tried to iron 4 items at once , maybe 5 even possible without refilling the water cap. Just remind yourself it is not a regular iron it is a smal steamer you can carry with you in your bag. So dont expect the performance of a perfect care model. If you decide what to wear in last minute or you have very limited space to keep ironing board and iron and have no idea about ironing, this is a product for you. It is opening up the wrinkles and leaving a flat surface without creating ironing crease. Without ironing board. There is only one bad thing about it. When i first used it, some dirt came on my shirt and i couldnt get rid of it. It was like as if it was used with some dirty water before and packed. Later it dissapeared slowly since i am using ironing water.

Speedy
I bought this to go in my hand luggage on holiday, it was perfect. Light and easy to use. I now use it instead of ironing, no board and no waiting for the iron to warm up. Just fill the water up and it’s pretty instant steam. Great on jumpers that you can’t iron and as a refresh for coats and scarves too.

I really wanted this to work
Disappointed as It seems like a good idea but I stood there ages just trying to do a school shirt and it didn’t look like I had done anything to it. Maybe it’s good if you have some very thin material that you want to decrease like linen. I’ll have to buy a iron and ironing board instead.

Doesn’t work, leaves clothes worse after use.
Absolutely useless! Doesn’t work. I tried everything. Bought one because I tried a different steamer which was effective. I thought something from Phillips will be reliable, I thought wrong. I want a refund!

Never thought i needed one
Honesty never would have got a hand held steam iron, but glad i was persuaded by my niece.... no need for that ironing board. Pressed my husbands linen suit to perfection with very little effort. Very happy customer

Quicker alternative to ironing
Bought this steamer as it would've worked out similar in price to an iron and ironing board. It took a little time to get used to how best to use the steamer (and how not to burn your fingers) but, once you get the hang of it, it feels much quicker than using an iron. The water chamber holds enough for around 2 items but it's easy enough to fill up and clip back in. It's important to button up shirts when steaming as it makes the process a lot easier. Would definitely recommend.

Hello there,
Philips Series 3000 STH3000/26 Garment Steamer.
The Philips Series 3000 STH3000/26 Garment Steamer has been designed to be used with tap water. However, if you live in an area with hard water, fast scale build-up may occur.
Therefore, to prolong the lifespan of the iron or steamer it is recommended that you use distilled or demineralised water (50% demineralised water mixed with tap water can also be used).
Thanks for using Q&A
Hi Steamer Novice,
The Philips Series 3000 STH3000/26 Garment Steamer focuses on de-wrinkling clothes with its continuous steam output. While it does not clean garments in the traditional sense, the hot steam it produces can help refresh fabrics by removing odors and killing up to 99.9% of bacteria.
Thank you for using Q&A
