Fitness Mat
This was the first exercise mat I bought and went for the thickest one. It is comfortable and you cannot feel the carpet beneath it. As other reviews a fixed handle for carrying would have been handy but I shall fit one myself.

Great for Pilates
Even though its described as a yoga mat, I bought this exercise mat for pilates after my thinner yoga mat was not comfortable to use for exercises on the knees. The thickness of this mat works really well for cushioning the knees and in general.

Does what you want it to do
My other gym mat had become so slippery that I was surfing! I read the online reviews, and this was mentioned as being nonslip. It is very good. Doesn't slip and is thick enough that you don't feel that you need an extra layer under your knee, etc. Glad that I paid a bit more for such a good quality product. I don't go out to a gym, so I can't comment on rolling it up or carrying it.
