I was with Total AV but in this years renewal they would only give me 3 devices. I have been with Norton before and on my renewal I found that I could cover 10 devices which was just right for me. I have always liked Norton and have moved to Total AV and previously to McAfee but have always returned to Norton as I am conmfortable with there products and their service.

Good antivirus, with issues
I have used Norton for years now and have found that their product is now almost becoming malware in itself. It does the job of protecting me (anti-virus, firewall, VPN) excellently, but the nag screen for their other products are very annoying and ina similar way to malware, try to scare you into buying their utilities product by saying 'you have this many (very large number) issues with your computer, buy this to fix them .... just gives me the ick! So, recommend .. yes, the protection is top notch (using sites that test this and other AV software for this info) but be aware of the hard sell pop ups.

Having checked I can see this would be a new subscription with its own license key so will over run your current subscription. Effectively you would loose any remining time you have left on your current subscription once you activate the new one.

You should be able to integrate a newly purchased product key or subscription into you current Norton account and not lose your existing days.
Yes, customers are able to add independently purchased products to their existing service accounts, and to manage their subscriptions, including the option to cancel auto-renewal.
Access Norton support via your login in and they will assist you with this. So yes you have a choice it is not all or nothing, the other info is WRONG.

If you are upgrading a current Norton product to a later version, you wont have to uninstall Norton before installing the new version. This is because the installation process removes the existing version and installs the new version in its place. You must be upgrading to a similar product for Norton to install in place of your existing Norton software. For example, if you currently have Norton 360 installed, you must upgrade to the latest version of Norton 360.
