Crease free cotton - great !
Excellent iron fast to heat up and plenty of steam for stubborn heavy weight cotton shirts. They have never been so crease free 👍👍 The only slight issue is is difficult to see the water level when filling due to the dark plastic tank.

Perfect iron
I bought this iron after my steam generator iron gave in (after many, many years I add). Very surprised at the difference when using it, heavier than the old one but …Wow…so much better. The heat power is so good it irons both sides of t shirts at once and very much flatter. Very impressed. No drips at all and much easier to control the steam output. One fill of water did a holiday load of ironing on steam so very impressed with that too. The cord is very long which means I can now change where I iron, near the tv maybe ?? The old one meant you were attached to the steam generator so the cold was very short in comparison Not tried vertical steaming yet but if that is anywhere near as good I will be very pleased The price was excellent too, I am glad that the steam generators were too expensive to consider, which made me go for a standard iron. Tefal is a good, long time make which I feel gives confidence in its reliability All round, very pleased with this iron. Cannot fault it and would recommend

Great iron
I bought this to replace the same model I had previously which I had for a few years. It has a long lead the shot of steam and spray work well with the button to use them situated under the handle making it easier to use. Not too heavy to use.

Small water tank
Good weight iron. Glides smoothly across your clothes removing creases easily however I do did I’m constantly having to refill the water tank - seems to be much smaller tank than my previous tefal iron. I’m only managing to steam press one / one and a half shirts before needing to top the water up again which is a little annoying. Other than that it’s a great iron.

Impressed by the glide.
Glides over fabric smoothly removing creases easily. No drips. Unable to see the level of water in the water tank. The cord is a good length. The iron not to heavy. The instructions are rubbish as the are pictures only.

Good iron and heats up fast and steams well with no dripping onto clothes that I find happens with a few I have tried, a good range of heat settings to choose from, only downside with the colour I find it awkward to see the line to fill the water compartment up.

Quality iron at an excellent price
Noticeably smoother gliding than with my previous iron and lighter. I much prefer the way you select the type of item you are ironing like wool, cotton etc and it sets an appropriate temperature. You can hear the steam being automatically delivered, in addition being able to press a button for extra steam. Finally creases disappeared quickly without having to iron the same area twice.

OK, SUFFICE
Bought this after my iron died. It does get hot quickly, glides effortlessly, water tank smaller than my old iron, it does drop water droplets during ironing, did OK at crease removal, steam suffice, good job has spray to help move the creases. Certainly would have returned if had paid full price, got it on offer. It is not worth the original price.

Great iron
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and it is great. Steams as expected and glides over all garments and I appreciate having extra long flex, water tank is ok not so easy to see levels when filling. Haven’t needed to descale or clean yet and only reason for 4 is that instructions are rubbish, whole load of diagrams that are not at all clear.

Hi Sharon, we can advise that the slider can be flicked to the right for an extra steam boost. However it will not stay on this setting.
Hi Luc, we can advise not to use any water other than untreated tap water in the iron. If you know you live in a hard water area the untreated tap water can be mixed 50/50 with either distilled or demineralised water but there needs to be at least a 50% concentration of untreated tap water used in order for the steam function to work properly. Our irons are specifically made to use untreated tap water. Do not use pure demineralised water, water from clothes dryers, scented or softened water, rain water, filtered, bottled or boiled water, water from refrigerators, batteries or air conditioners, pure distilled water or rain water as these may damage the iron. These types of water contain organic waste, mineral elements that become concentrated when heated and cause spitting, brown staining, leaking or premature wear on your iron.

Hi Clare, we can advise that if the iron is leaking when the iron is being filled, always set your iron to the 'No Steam' function before you start to fill it. Also, you can check the temperature that the iron thermostat dial/slider is set to as the temperature maybe too low to produce steam. The majority of our irons will only produce steam when set on the 2 dot or 3 dot setting. When you look on your iron's thermostat dial you will notice that the 2 dot and 3 dot settings have a shaded background, this indicates that the iron will produce steam when the dial is set inside this shaded area. “ It does not contain a single temp soleplate this has a thermostat control. ”

No temperature setting and it can iron all fabrics without damage. However, I have just purchased this iron and will be returning it. It is NOT a one temperature iron as stated in the description.
