Great Product
If you want to make ice cream yourself, this is a great tool for that! We chilled the bowl overnight in the freezer, then put our creamy mix into it (churning for 25 mins) while watching it crystalize and get thick. The texture was like a "soft serve" which you can enjoy right away, but I'd recommend putting the churned ice cream into the freezer for another 2-4hours. As feedback for the brand, I think it would be helpful to include a disclaimer in the manual that a thin ice cream layer will stick to the sides and that it's simply a loss since I accidentally scratched our bowl trying to get all the ice cream out with a stainless steal spoon (as a silicon spatula wasn't working). After that scratch, we just cut our losses and washed the bowl with hot water which melted the remaining film away -- just felt kind of bad. I wonder if a scraping utensil could be provided with this? Just sharing our experience. Honestly love this though!

Easy to use, useful & fun attachment to have handy
Probably not an essential item but a bit of a treat, great offer from Argos too, much cheaper than other places. It's easy to use, sturdy enough, easy to clean. Keeping the ice cream bowl in the freezer ready to use can be tricky if you're low on space. Some good recipes on the kitchen aid website for sorbets, gelato etc - made a few sorbets so far, very easy - mixed berry and banana has been the favourite. A bit trickier to make a gelato base, but the actual process of using the ice cream maker attachment is a doddle.

Great ice cream maker
I bought this as a gift for my sister and she loves it. We can’t wait to get more use out of it in the summer - it is more compact than I expected which is great for it fitting in the freezer

Great addition to the KitchenAid , makes wonderful ice cream

Expensive but does what it's supposed to
As long as you follow the instructions and use a decent recipe you can make a very good ice cream, don't try and skimp on the time everything needs to be in the freezer before use. It's relatively expensive but I got it on a good discount compared to other sellers.

Delighted
Delighted that this icecream maker can be integrated in to my Kitchen Aid. The bowl freezes about 1.5 l of vanilla icecream in about 30 minutes, which was efficient and the result was perfect.
