The Hisense HDE3211BWUK Electric Cooker simplifies meal prep with a 68-litre fan oven, a 31-litre conventional oven, and a 4-zone ceramic hob for everything from quick breakfasts to roast dinners. The main fan oven spreads heat evenly across 3 shelves, letting you bake or roast multiple dishes without cold patches. The second oven offers a conventional setting plus a full-width electric grill for toasting, melting cheese, or finishing gratins, while the digital timer lets you programme it to switch off automatically.
You get 6 functions, including defrost for last-minute meal planning. The ceramic hob heats quickly and offers precise control, with 3 standard zones and 1 larger for bigger pans or griddles. Easy-clean enamel liners in both cavities soak up residue for easier wiping, and removable inner glass doors lift out for thorough cleaning. Front controls keep everything within reach, interior lights let you check progress without opening doors, and double-glazed windows lock in heat. New freestanding double oven cooker
I am generally pleased with this cooker howevr I have some curiosity. Between the top oven and control panel there is a white metal shield. I was intrigued to see that on the right hand side there was an apparent design feature of a bend and wondered what the purpose of this could be. Then I realised it was no desigm feature - this was a bash. Now I can't be sure when this happened. Certainly not by me but whether when packaged or when installed I can't say. However the process was quite traumatic so I decided to leave as is. However using a tea towel to wrap pair of pliers I have fixed this myself. But please tell me why this shield is fitted to my cooker since all pics of it on the internet does not have this shield.

I brought this cooker about two weeks ago and it's one best cookers that I have had

Really disappointed
I have purchased this cooker in May this year and since than I had only problems with it. To get to boil water for a plate of pasta it takes actual ages. Frying is not possible because to get the oil at temperature you need to put a lid and as soon as you remove it the oil temperature drops. Also two days ago one of the rings stopped working.

Lovely looking double oven. The fan oven has a low rumble which I'm getting used to. The ceramic hob is new to me and I didn't realise there is only one large ring.
