About this product
The JML Handy Brite LED Torch lights up tight spaces wherever you need it. The stand-up design lets you work hands-free while the built-in swivel hook hangs from shelves, hooks or tent poles. The magnetic base sticks to any metal surface, so you can position it in the garage, shed or under the bonnet. Ultra-bright COB LED bulbs fill dark corners with clear light without needing mains power. Battery-powered and cordless, it's portable enough to take camping or pack for festivals.
The compact design fits into small spaces and packs down easily for trips. The rubber grip gives you control when holding it as a torch. Three AA batteries are included, so it's ready to use straight from the box. The lightweight build makes it easy to carry in a rucksack or keep in the car boot. The swivel hook rotates to direct light exactly where you need it, and the magnetic base keeps it secure on metal surfaces while you work.

A very "Andy" piece of kit
I purchased the torch in order to meet Andy Burnhams suggested emergency standby kit with three days food and water supply but in the meantime will use it for dog walking and other DIY tasks. The torch is light and very bright with an excellent grip and useful magnetic foldaway hook. I have not fully tested the runtime but purchased the torch based on some reviews which suggested an excellent performance. I am sure that I will not be disappointed.

A very useful torch, incredibly bright, easy to hold if you need it to be portable, but also very easy to hang, stand or attach to a magnetic surface, so good for all situations. I have several of these torches and have found them to be incredible resilitent - I now have one in every room and a couple in our caravan, so can honestly recommend them with a 5 star rating.

I need this to navigate a lightless car park at night. It pretty good. It shows the car park surface in relief and is pretty useful. It was a bit difficult to find in the electronic catalogue .but that’s a common problem with Argos and I knew to keep trying

I can advise that this torch requires 3 x AA battery.
The battery compartment on the back is closed with a small screw so this needs to be taking out to input new batteries.
