Ribbed metal bathroom wall light
Absolutely made up with this light, I have bought two and intend to put them either side of my bathroom mirror (above the vanity unit) can’t wait to see them in situ. The supplier has advised the following for the Ribbed Metal Bathroom Wall Light - Gold:
No it can’t be used in upwards direction in bathroom, as the drainage hole needs to point downwards. But, if it's not used in a bathroom (or any place indoors that need it to have a waterproof function), then it can be used in upwards direction, e.g. in a living room.

The diameter of the glass shade is approximately 10cm. While the exact diameter of the hole that fits over the bulb isn’t specified, it’s designed to accommodate a standard G9 capsule bulb, which has a pin spacing of 9mm. The fitting is tailored to securely hold this bulb type.
