There are cheaper external hard drives online but this one was in stock at a local Argos store and I needed one at short notice. Ordering and collection very smooth. The hard drive is plug and play and works as expected.

The Toshiba Canvio Ready 1TB Portable Hard Drive can be compatible with a Google Pixel 7 Pro, but there are a few important things you need, to use this HDD.
1. You’ll need a USB-C OTG adapter or compatible cable.
2. It will need external power as the power from your phone will not be enough.
3. Also the hard drive will need to be formatted to exFat from NTFS.
