The Canvio Ready includes ramp load design that prevents damage to the disk while mobile, and a shock sensor that will cut the power to protect data in the event of physical stress so you can rest assured that your files are safe.

Small, portable and oh so quiet
The Toshiba Canvio is just what I was looking for to back up the data on my Apple Mac. Formatting it to be compatible with a Mac's Time Machine software wasn't difficult and it's so small and silent. Only thing to make it better would be if the cable included in the package was a little longer than 35cms.
