Got this as a present for a 9 year old. Sturdy construction with a mixture of plastic type material and coated reinforced cardboard materials. It’s lightweight and surprisingly tough, so it should stand up to some abuse by kids and adults alike. It’s not battery operation, so not actual ‘Air Hockey’ features, the board is just a shiny material so the puck glides quite well but not as good as an actual air hockey table. For the price though I think this is a good compromise.
