About this product
Trigger your indoor smart lights with movement using the Philips Hue Motion Sensor. This battery-powered motion sensor can be placed anywhere inside your home with hassle-free installation.
What's Required? - A 'Philips Hue Bridge' (sold separately) is required for smart control. Simply connect your new Philips Hue Motion Sensor to the bridge and take advantage of smart home lighting via the 'Philips Hue' app.
Personalise Light At Different Times Of The Day - With customised light settings assigned to different times of the day, set the motion sensor in your hallway to trigger a gentle night light to help guide you in the dark.
Daylight Sensor Detects Light - The Philips Hue motion sensor detects when there is still enough daylight so that lights don't turn on until you need them. If it's still too dark, simply adjust the light sensitivity to personalise when you'd like the motion sensor to.

Works as intended
Ideal for the stairs - switches on the lights at the bottom and turns off after your pre-set time. Now need one for the bottom of the stairs

Simple and useful smart home device
This device was simple and easy to use when connecting to Home Assistant via a Zigbee bridge. It works reliably when used to turn on and off lights based on motion (using HA automations). It is very useful having motion, temperature, and illuminance sensors all in one device.

Great device to have with a Philips Hue setup.
I had been asking my Google home to switch lights on and off when entering a room but this saves the need for that. Very useful, would recommend it.

Easy to install and control.
Seems expensive for what it is as with all Hue system, but it’s easy to install with no wiring, App to control Hue system easy, well sorted.

Triggers light unexpectedly
Works well except that quite often when the Hue app says there is enough light for it not to trigger, it still does I.e turning light on in daylight. Adjusting levels/settings makes no difference, also have to use fixed time rather than sunrise/sunset as you can with the bulbs. Not a big problem just irritating.

Ease of use
Have had this for a few months, no issues and easy to install and use. Different levels of sensitivity and not had any issues regarding responsiveness with our light bulbs. Happy with product and would recommend.

Works very well, and smaller than I expected!
This has made such a big difference in my house, our porch light has not been used since we moved in, as we don't want to leave it on all the time, and the light switch is on the inside of the house, this means that when we walk in on an evening we have no light at all, and often need to use a phone torch to find our keys and which ones we need to open the door. This has made everything so much easier, and now we are actually putting the light to good use! I have installed a philips hue filament bulb into the porch light, and set the motion sensor to turn the light on to a certain brightness and hue when motion is detected, I have then set it to turn off after a minute, it works so well, and now there is no more getting the phone torch out or fumbling for the right keys with our hands full, everything works seamlessly. Another great thing about the device is that it is battery powered, and is magnetic on the back, so once I installed the back magnet fixing to the wall, it can easily be taken down to replace batteries whenever I will need to in the future and it can also easily be moved. It is also much smaller than I expected, about half the size of the palm of my hand, so I don't even notice it in the corner of the room.
