Great to use and easy to clean
I originally had the RX 5 some time ago which was good but gave up after one and a half years. Following this an off brand seven head house brick and then the popular Put Bull Gold Pro which was just hard to clean and after a year of use was hard work. This rebrand of the RX 7 is great so far. Easy to use, turbo mode is great and cleaning is a piece of cake. Only time will tell on the rest.

Bought a few months ago for my partner. Does the job but only works well if you do not allow hair to grow past certain length. Clogs up quickly but as long as it's cleaned properly after each use and used regularly it's great.

Upgraded from the RX5 which I have used with no issues for 2 years, it was a mistake the RX7 was unreliable and packed up after 7 or 8 uses, Remington did not want to know and pushed the problem back to the retailer, so was left dealing with an Ai bot, ended up throwing the RX7 in the bin, buying a new head for the RX5 as a makeshift measure but wont be using Remington again,

Poor product husband used it twice and it stopped working taken back for a replacement got a different product hopefully this one lasts longer

Expected it to last longer than 6 months
I bought the remington rx7 about 6 months ago and was really impressed with the closeness of cut and ease of use. However after 6 months of use it constantly cuts out despite cleaning and oiling blades after every use. Warning light flashes and it cuts out, remove head and blades rotate freely replace head plug it into mains to remove fault and same thing happens. Repeat process about 4 or 5 times and then it works fine until next time. Quicker using a razor very disappointed.

The shaver comes with a cable to charge from a USB port. I charge mine from my computer.
Yes, but you will need to get your chest and back hair short, to about 2mm, with clippers first and clean the shaver out regulary or it will clog up. Hope this helps
I am not sure I haven't tried but I would recommend not to it is only good for stubble hair long hair would get tangled and pull out feeling discomfort

Argos actually sell the replacement head, Ive just been looking at them for my rx5, then came across the 1 for this and only came here to read how it compares to the rx5

The supplier has advised the following for the Remington RX7 Ultimate Head Shaver XR1600:
The blades/head of the shaver are "guaranteed for a period of 6 months as they are considered a consumable part". The life of the blades will heavily depend on the frequency of usage and the manitanance. They advise to follow the maintenance instructions from the user manual to get the longest life.

It mostly collects within the shaver to be emptied later. Not 100 per cent but 99 per cent easily. Emptying is simplistic.
