I’ve used this twice so far, very good at cutting upto 3-4 day growth - very fast and leaves great results. Contours around the head and ears very well. Ergonomics are great. Not sure about longevity as some of the other reviews have mentioned. However I ignored those reviews and bought it anyway. Overall, I’m very happy with this product as it has speeded up my haircut routine massively. I would highly recommend it to those thinking of shaving their head bald - don’t waste time and go for it !!! Only downside is the pop up sideburn tool is not good at all. But as a shaver it’s excellent !!

Easy and quick to use. A daily driver.
I use this daily, it works very smoothly! The cut is precise giving a shave not too far from a razor. Ergonomically it fits the head well, and I can get a full shave in about 4-5mins.

Great head shaver, realy easy to use with dual speed and easy to clean. Leaves head very smooth with the fuss of a wet shave. Can be used wet or dry but I find dry best, and battery life is great, charged up for holiday and wish I had bought one years ago.used everyday for 2 weeks no trouble with charge left when I got home. 10/10 if I could give it 11 i would.

The RX5 is advertised as waterproof, but RX7 is also water resistant, so it can be rinsed or used on a wet face.''

Yes, but you will need to get your chest and back hair short, to about 2mm, with clippers first and clean the shaver out regulary or it will clog up. Hope this helps
I am not sure I haven't tried but I would recommend not to it is only good for stubble hair long hair would get tangled and pull out feeling discomfort

Argos actually sell the replacement head, Ive just been looking at them for my rx5, then came across the 1 for this and only came here to read how it compares to the rx5

The supplier has advised the following for the Remington RX7 Ultimate Head Shaver XR1600:
The blades/head of the shaver are "guaranteed for a period of 6 months as they are considered a consumable part". The life of the blades will heavily depend on the frequency of usage and the manitanance. They advise to follow the maintenance instructions from the user manual to get the longest life.
