The BabyDan Wide Pressure Fit Safety gate fits openings from 73.5-106.3cm. The gate is ideal for hallways and wider openings where a typical gate would not fit or is not wide enough. The gate is 73cm high and has a one handed operation meaning it is easy to use when your hands are full. The gate opens in either direction. This gate is made by BabyDan in our own manufacturing facility in Lasby, Denmark since 1957.

Good sturdy stair gate
Very pleased with the purchase of this stair gate. Excellent quality, you can’t go wrong with BabyDan products. The only negative comment is the instructions were rather baffling until I downloaded the special app, the instructions were then very simple and installation was easy.

Bizarrely this is the second purchase of the gate that I’ve had to send back due to the same missing pieces. When I eventually got a complete set it was great.

Easy to put together
I really wanted a pressure mounted stair gate and needed it extra long to fit a wide opening. This is perfect, I put it together myself (which says a lot because for my downstairs stair gate I had to pay a handy man to come and do it.) Overall very pleased and I would recommend.

Quality product at a reasonable price
Good quality product, requires studying the instructions and measuring up to properly install. Works where gap is narrower at the bottom than the top, e.g. thick skirting boards. Our one-year-old is still some way from being able to open or climb over it.

I bought this safety gate and it was so easy to fit. Keeps our dog where he's meant to be and the opening handle is very secure. Highly recommend

Adjustable child gate
A light weight safety gate, but one that can be easily and gradually expanded widthways in 6.5cm stages to its maximum width, which flexibility suited my staircase dimensions more effectively than other advertised models. Quite expensive, bur aren’t they all!

Great product
I bought this to contain my young grandson and it was easy to fit and doesn’t damage the walls in the rented property. It sits well in the gap and hold nice and tight. My only criticism is the packaging. Picking it up from my local store I had difficulty carrying it. It should have a handle of some sort.
