Not the best
Dont buy you will regret it. Very poor functionality and assembly. Lost so much milk during transfer and its too much effort to even get it to be stable whilst pumping!

Does the job
Had to buy this urgently due to some issues with health. Does a great job and was able to pump excellent amounts of milk. Fairly easy to use.

Great electric pump
Great electric pump that helps me express when needed. This worked wonders when the Elvie manual pump wasn’t working for me. Easy to operate and I like the app that helps you manage pumping sessions and keeps a record. Only slight downside is it’s a bit difficult to open the pump for cleaning each time as you have to pull on one part to remove it from the other which becomes time consuming when done multiple times a day.

Bad
Used 3 times . Gone to use this morning before work in 1 hour and it doesn't charge and won't turn on so now I can't leave my baby milk to go to work

Amazing Pump
I struggled with breastfeeding and had bought the Elvie Stride while pregnant as I wanted my partner to be part of feeding our little one too. On the second day after his birth, we were worried he wasn’t getting enough milk from my breasts alone so I tried expressing. Now we solely feed him by bottle, using my expressed milk. The Stride is amazing. I can go about my life and express regularly without it being a problem. It works so well and I get amazing amounts of milk (more than we need - we’re able to freeze milk for future dates) due to the excellent fit and suction. It’s not painful or uncomfortable, there is a noticeable tug on the nipples, but it’s quite similar to when the baby is latched and as I say doesn’t hurt. The vibration sound of the pump is quite subtle, my partner and baby can both sleep through it when I am expressing in the night. I currently express every couple of hours in the day, and then once or twice in the nigh, each time for 20-30 minutes (I usually get between 120-250ml of milk each time). I have expressed while cleaning, cooking, in a cafe, in the car, while visiting family, or even when walking to the shops! The only thing I’d change is making it easier to see how much milk is in the cup while expressing. At the minute I can only check by pulling it away from the breast and checking. It’s not a major problem however, as I’m used to the amounts I get each time.

Bought this over a month ago, it came recommended and I'm so glad I bought it. Easy to clean and use quickly when managing a newborn!!

Does the job
I bought this a couple of months ago and have used it less often than I planned. My husband wanted to be involved in feeding but became less hung up on the idea as time went on. It's easy to use, wash and sterile, especially if you have a bottle/ food steriliser you can put it in. It's a bit tricky to see how full it is when you're using it and it's definitely not discreet, I have the single one and you can definitely tell I'm wearing it. Doesn't bother me though, I just use it about the house. The app is quite good because if like me you forget when you started pumping it times the session. It's a shame it didn't come with different sized shields, the one that came is probably too big for me but I can't stomach paying for more parts when the pump was so expensive to start with and it seems to work ok anyway.

Its ok
I do love it and it does seem to nearly empty my breasts BUT one pump side is super low strength compared to other side. I only got the pump a month ago so it shouldn't shouldn't be losing strength already.

Disappointed given price
I followed the instructions on sterilising...boiling in water for 5 minutes and it has went from transparent to cloudy, since then it does not connect as well and I have to hold it against me to get it to work. I am quite disappointed given the price and the fact it was supposed to be hands free which it is no longer.

Disappointed
I have had the pump less than a month with my newborn, after breastfeeding & manually pumping the first few days the Elvie was a life saver however less than a month of using the grey disc has started to separate in the centre & this has lead to lack of suction. I’m only planning to pump till the end of the year so only purchased one, I understand there will be wear & tear due to the amount of time I’m using it but less than 4 weeks for the price is disappointing. I’m now sitting here at 1130pm, feeling tired & frustrated as my boobs full & the uncomfortable/ pain setting in! With no luck at all trying to get my pump to work. As a first time mum this is disheartening & I really don’t want to spend more money on a pump.
