A pack of 6 replacement water fountain filters that are compatible with all Catit PIXI drinking fountains. Each Catit PIXI fountain filter purifies the water that your cat has access to through their fountain and ensures that they benefit from clean, healthy drinking water. In 3 simple ways, the filter removes odours, filters out debris and softens the tap water to reduce magnesium and calcium levels. Each filter lasts for approximately 30 days before it should be changed.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Catit PIXI Fountain Filter Cartridges 6 Pack: ''At Catit we have worked hard to understand and improve a cat’s daily life, and this first started with our drinking fountains. We understand that the quantity as well as the quality of drinking water is important to cats and their health.
Drinking tap water will not result in your cat developing urinary tract issues but there are various factors that can play a role; including certain minerals like magnesium and calcium being present in high quantities, whether local tap water is hard or soft and the amount of water that your cat is drinking (perhaps not enough). If a bowl is left out on the floor for a long period of time food, dust and other particles can easily get into the water, effectively making the water dirty. Our triple action filters that feature within our drinking fountains include ion exchange resin which softens tap water and reduces any excess minerals that may be present in the water, therefore presenting a much more appealing water that is safer for cats to drink 24/7.''
