From the information we have available, I can advise The Seagate 4TB Portable Gaming Hard Drive is actually an HDD (Hard Disk Drive), not an SSD (Solid State Drive).
It's designed to provide ample storage for gaming, but you will need to transfer the stored games back onto the console to play.
The only drive that allows you to play games directly from the card is the Seagate Storage Expansion Card.

This drive work via USB, so you would need to get a USB lead that would work with your iPhone.

Hi there yes it will but as its not a ssd hard drive it will not run the series x s games unless transferred too the internal or ssd hard drive but it will take about 20 mins too transfer a 90gb game from the hard drive

I can confirm the following of the Seagate 4TB Portable Gaming Hard Drive:

The games can be installed onto it for storage purposes only, you will need to transfer them to the internal drive when you are wanting to play them. This will be quicker then re downloading any games from the store as the transfer rate is quicker then most network download speeds.

You can store games on it however Xbox Series X and Series S titles won't run on external hard drives due to slow transfer speeds, failing to meet next-generation demands.

is only compatible with an Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One.
There is a Seagate 4TB Game Drive for PS4 and PS5.

It is not SSD therefore you can only use it for storage of games that you want to back up but dont intend to play. You want the seagate 1 or 2TB ssd expansion drives for the xbox to play them at the same time.

The answer from Argos staff is incorrect. This product is not an SSD - the picture they are using is wrong.

Misleading..the hard drive in the picture is NOT the one you get. I returned mine 5 minutes after buying it. It is a HDD you get and its not even the one above. Can not find a picture of the actual one you get on the Argos website. Waste of time.
