Nice, simple design, but digital display too small
A nice, beautifully simple (in a good way) design, but digital display too small (well for an 'oldie' like me!) making it very hard to read. Otherwise I like this watch a lot!

Good points are shock resistant, lightweight (about 51g), comfortable to wear great backlight for both digital and analogue displays. Module number for this watch is 5611, if you search "Casio module 5611" on the official Casio website you can download the instructions free of charge. Other websites may CHARGE! Nice watch but unlike similar price G-Shock watches it's not solar powered nor is radio controlled. Casio do a really nice G-Shock that's both radio controlled and solar powered the model GW-M5610U- Argos item 292/6175. Keep a eye on prices as every so often Argos drop price by 25%.

Purchased G Shock watch
I purchased a G shock watch as I needed a reasonable price watch as my watch was in the repairs. The G shock watch look robust as I was working in construction. The watch was an excellent choice and I am extremely happy and has been my first choice since my other watch has returned.

Should have bought one before!
I've always worn this style of watch, but never wanted to spend this amount of money on one because my watches have a bit of a hard life! Sometimes a treat is just what you need though . . . Very pleased with the G Shock. Positives - looks amazing, is light, is very easy to read (white on black), seconds are displayed digitally, nice feature, is waterproof. Negatives - expensive (but will be worth it if it lasts), I needed help setting the time (but am a bit hopeless on this kind of front so maybe not a negative if you have a tech brain). Overall - LOVE IT.

Tough, minimal features, easy to read
I needed a watch for work which isn’t a smart watch. It needed to be tough, it needed to be waterproof and it needed to be easily read in low light. This G-Shock is exactly what I needed. I ordered it and was wearing it the next day.. excellent!

The new g shock watches come in a box now with no tin. I bought 3 g shocks and only 2 in a tinand bought from Hinds jewellers and H Samuel Jewellers. The other was bought from Casio online.
