Lovely sharp lens
Had this for around a month now. Using it with a Canon R10 so with the APS-C sensor ends up as 640mm supposedly. Nice crisp pictures. Loving the lens. Used it on brighter days and overcast cloudier days and good results from pictures. First three pics are from same spot; one at 16mm, then lowest end of the lens 100mm and fully zoomed at 400mm. All handheld shots as well. Next two one taken with mobile phone to see the distance and next at 400mm. Moon pic is at 400mm and handheld as well. Image stabilisation on it is much better than expected as the R10 doesn’t have its own built in stabilisation.

Great lens, great price
I love this lens, it goes so well with my eos R7 and takes some great shots. Compared to some zooms lens this one is relatively light. The only downside is that it doesn’t come with a lens hood / I purchased one separately.

Best bang for buck telephoto rf lens
I brought this for my R7, being a crop sensor this lens gives me a reach of 160mm - 640mm full frame equivalent so perfect for bird photography. Even though it is a fairly slow and variable aperture, in good light this lens is sharp and clear, I couldn't ask for more. In not so perfect light my camera handles the higher ISO levels and Photoshop denoise does the rest but still a sharp clear image.

The Canon RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM lens is not natively compatible with the EOS M6 Mark II. The RF lens is designed for the EOS R system, while the M6 Mark II uses the EOS M mount, and there is no adapter available to mount RF lenses onto M-series cameras.
