About this product
The Beko Pro HII64201MT Electric Induction Hob brings flexible, fast cooking to your kitchen with its clever IndyFlex zones that bridge together when you need extra space for large pans or griddles. Induction technology heats your cookware directly rather than the surface, so you get rapid boiling and precise temperature control without wasting energy. With 9 adjustable power levels and a boost function, you can switch from a gentle simmer to full heat in seconds. The touch controls give you separate adjustment for each of the 4 zones, making it simple to manage multiple dishes at once.
Safety features include a child lock to prevent accidental changes, residual heat indicators that show when zones are still warm, and an automatic safety cut-off if you forget to switch it off. The timer helps you keep track when cooking several things, and front mounted controls stay within easy reach. EasyFit installation clips make fitting straightforward, and it needs hardwiring into a dedicated cooker point. Burner power ranges from 1.8kW to 2.3kW, and it's designed to fit standard built-in apertures. Comes with a 2 year manufacturer's guarantee.

A nice hob but ...
I had a Tefal single induction hob and was so impressed I decided to replace a ceramic hob with an induction hob. It was easy to replace and wire into the existing power supply. It's taken a bit of getting used to though. The power controls are similar to the old hob insomuch that to simmer it is on about midway, on 4 or 5. The Tefal has a dedicated simmer control. The power boost is often used to start with as I don't find the other levels powerful enough to quickly boil water for instance. But all these are just something to get used to. My main gripe, and it is something I should have noticed but didn't, is the control icons are in grey. Grey on a black hob in low light makes it almost impossible to see. I found that tapping in the general area lights up the icons and from there I can set the controls as needed. It would have been so much better if they were in white. Apart from that it is a pretty good and responsive hob at a reasonable price.

Beko Induction hob
I bought the hob few months ago and I am very happy with the purchase. It is much quicker than my old ceramic hob, the times setting is very useful to me. The only little note to Beko is that the control panel would be better if the the buttons lit up to show which ring is working. Nothing that compromises the performance of the hob!

Failing / unresponsive temperature controls
Purchased early Nov, installed by electrician mid November. Started experiencing temp controls getting stuck / unable to adjust during cooking (4 plates/entire hob), now experiencing complete failure of top right plate where it will turn on but cannot lower temperature. I question the quality & reliability on this model. Next test will be let’s see if Beko’s service engineer partners will be willing to look at it and how many weeks that will take.

The minimum thickness of worktop it'll fit into is a 12mm one so, yes, this will fit into that slim worktop.

Our supplier has advised that the dimensions of the burners are -
Rear Left - 18cm diameter, 2000W power with 2300W boost.
Front Left - 18cm diameter, 2000W power with 2300W boost.
Rear Right - 21cm diameter, 2000W power with 2300W boost.
Front Right - 14.5cm diameter, 1600W power with 1800W boost.
