Bought to connect a dongle to the internet, so data only, to allow a solar panel system to be accessible and connected. has worked with no problems except finding a spot where the dongle received a signal, ended up putting it in the roof, updates itself each month.

Security cameras will consume data very quickly. Here is some data of the 4G data usage for a 2K SIM card security camera
View Live Video (substream) 512kbps 1 hour per day around 0.2GB
View Live Video (mainstream) 3Mbps 1 hour per day around 1.4GB
Cloud Storage 1Mbps - 1 hour per day around 0.5GB
This only an example and will vary largely based on model/usage/time etc. I would advise looking in to an unlimited data SIM for these reasons.
