About this product
The Verona Window Seat gives you a comfortable spot to sit and plenty of hidden storage in one compact design. It's ideal for hallways, bedrooms or any smaller space where you need seating without taking up much room. The fabric upholstery with deep buttoned detailing on the lift-up lid adds a classic touch that fits with most home styles. Wooden feet keep it sturdy and lift the base off the floor for easy cleaning underneath.
Inside there's 87.4 litres of storage space for shoes, blankets, toys or anything you want to keep out of sight but close to hand. The lift-up lid opens smoothly to reveal the storage compartment and closes securely. It's built to a high standard, so it handles daily use as occasional seating or a practical perch. Looks great and very handy for storage
This has been a great replacement as somewhere to store blankets, and looks great with some additional cushions laid out on top. It also makes for a very comfortable seat when I want to look longingly out of the window on those grey, drizzly days... I read other reviews before buying and noted several comments on difficulties with assembling the seat. The first few stages were very straightforward and completed with relative ease in quick time. However, attaching the hinge and the seat proved to be the challenging part, and was particularly difficult to keep steady while I screwed it in place (as I was assembling by myself). However, overall I am very pleased with the window seat and think that it would look equally good at the foot of the bed.

Smart looking
Looks really nice and well padded but it is rather low on seats also quite fiddly to fit hinges and side metal lifters as screw hole markers are slightly out , l went by the gap each end between arms and lid so there would be the same space each end as if to close to arms it would rub on material when opening or closing. But it does look well made just wish legs where a bit longer

Nice once assembled
The item is really nice and good for a small bit of extra storage. Assembly wasn’t too bad apart from getting in the supplied screws (some pilot holes would of been nice). I now have blisters, thanks.

Generally good quality but very hard to assemble
I really like the finished seat but found it very difficult to put together as there were no pre-made holes for the screws and little indication of where they should go. The instructions were very brief. Also one of the holes to attach the feet was not properly drilled. This may be ok if you have the right tools but with a standard screwdriver the assembly took hours and was hard work, particularly the hinges.

"I can advise the fabric on the VERONA WINDOW SEAT CHARCOAL FABRIC is Hopsack Fabric, the fabric on the DAKOTA OTTOMAN BED is Chenille. The charcoal in the Verona is darker than the light grey Dakota, the Verona grey window fabric seat would be a better match, however they will not be an exact match".
