Wowzers!
It’s a water carrier with a tap… a little plumbers tape around the thread and it’s ideal for carrying fluid, especially if you need a tap 🤣

Does the job
Happy with this water tank, it does the job I wanted which is to store water for making tea and coffee while away in our camper van. The tap seems to have a bit of a mind of its own as to whether it works or not… but it doesn’t leak at all which is the main thing. Overall very happy with it.

A great quality water container
I have now bought three of these. I bought the first to see how good it would be and I wasnt disappointed. Easy to carry when full, no leaks and pours from the tap reasonbly well. So I bought two more so I have enough water for cleaning the car and windows - using "Spotless" water that I buy locally.

Water jerry can ideal for camping
Does what it says on the tin, robust and reasonably priced.

Decent quality
Good quality, as advertised. Maybe wouldn't use in a system that needs to be completely sealed, but functions fine as water container

Ideal for purpose
This is ideal for purpose, just make sure you unscrew the filler cap when pouring or a vacuum is created and will not pour.

Water carrier
Good, strong product

Water container needs a small improvement
Only issues are the handle is barely wide enough to get my hand on comfortably and the rubber seals on the caps need way too much pressure to tighten up to stop drips.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
Jamie is incorrect in saying this is suitable for Petrol. This is not suitable for carrying neither Petrol or Diesel as it does not have the required "Petrol" or "Highly Flamable" labels on this.
Not suitable for petrol as doesn't have the required petrol or flammable markings so would get refused service at any reputable petrol station
Hi Paul
This is suitable to hold petrol.
I hope this helps :)

Thanks for using Argos Q&A
If you swap the caps around so the tap is at the square end,you can then place on a table and get a better configuration ,also if you unscrew the filler cap slightly when full, you get a better flow of water, swap your caps around people
Hi,
Thanks for your query about the Highlander Heavy Duty Jerrican with Tap - 10L.
If the tap was at the bottom then, it would be in direct contact with the floor, the grass or surface on which it was being stored and there’d be the potential for contamination.
With regards to using it, it would need to be tipped whenever you do use it but you would be free to stand it on a table on the side so the tap is near the bottom.
If you stand the container on it's side on a raised surface as we did then the tap is on the bottom and easier to use, it's still not great but it's usable
