About this product
Engineered to wash hard floors. Properly. Removes wet and dry dirt in one go using clean water from start to finish. Powerfully tackles spills, debris, hair and tough dried-on stains on all hard floors types. Automatically divides wet and dry waste into separate containers for hygienic disposal – so you don't touch the dirt. Self-cleaning cycle, automatically flushes the machine after use to prevent the build up of dirt and debris.
Minimum refills, maximum coverage - Washes up to 290sqm of hard flooring on just one tank of water, which is the equivalent size of a tennis court.
Glides and goes low, effortlessly - Double rollers spin in opposite directions, so Dyson WashG1 wet cleaner feels easy to maneuver. It's also designed to reach low under furniture and into awkward spaces.
Precision-controlled hydration - Three cleaning modes let you set the hydration level to suit the task: level 1, level 2, or level 3. So you can tackle anything from light spills, to sticky liquids and dried-on stains.

I can’t fault the clean, but the unit is very cumbersome and a right pain to get the water bottle off and back on. Unfortunately I had to send mine back, as water was spilling out the sides when cleaning, leaving dirty water everywhere. Not impressed for the money

Kitchen Tiles Like New Again
Thought my floor was clean until I used this! Love the design and ease of use. The only criticism I would have, and I hope this help someone else, is that absolutely nowhere does it tell you that it needs to be plugged into the mains and charging for the self clean function to work. I watched Dyson videos and YouTube reviews and no one mentions this! Easiest floor cleaner I've ever used.

Untested features
The product clean well but the it feels like it has been designed very quickly without anyone testing it. My main problem is with the self cleaning. The self cleaning cleans well the rollers but the suction is not sufficient to remove all the water. The rollers are still dripping wet after the clean meaning that if you leave it unattended you will end up with a puddle of water around it. I was expecting more and better design. I’m not sure of Dyson can update the firmware to fix the problem?

Dyson WashG1: A True Game Changer
Add a title for this review, What a game changer the Dyson washG1. Been using it for two weeks now, and it has outshone my previous floor cleaner by miles. Very happy with the clean, easy-to-use, and easy-to-clean. The new 02 probiotic, I’m convinced my grout lines are cleaner in the morning after using it; those friendly bacteria are doing a good job. Only criticism I would say had to change the red debris tray as it kept falling out, it was about 2-4 mm too short to clip into the grey tray, but got it swapped and working a dream

Disappointed
I bought this over a month ago and requested a replacement under warranty as there were issues with the product. I was informed that a new one would be dispatched next day. 10 days later I phoned again to be told my complaint had not been actioned but would be escalated immediately. A week later and still nothing. Very disappoined with Dyson.

Wish we bought this sooner saves time and effort could not believe the colour of the water the first time we used it it may sound stupid but the floor feels a lot cleaner when you walk on them

Fabulous floor cleaner
I bought this to replace my old floor cleaner from another brand. Wow what a difference. I love the three levels of cleaning leaving my floor to dry in a jiffy. As a 'newbie' the how to use instructions on the small LED screen have been so helpful. The self clean programme means it's always ready to go especially in the recent very wet weather meaning regular muddy footprints in my hallway.

I have used the wash g1 a few times now. It’s cleaning ability is brilliant. It is filled with clean water, with which I thought would never be enough - boy was I wrong. Can’t wait to try the cleaning solution ( been out of stock). Other reviews says it takes it to another level of clean. It’s design tells you what to do, it’s so easy. Love how it does a self clean to. It’s just perfect for me.

We would like to inform you that the Dyson Wash G1 is designed to work with both cold and warm water. However, to avoid damaging the machine, the water temperature should not exceed 35°C (95°F). As for detergents, the machine is specifically engineered to clean effectively using just clean water.
