Beat the crowds to the hottest gifts - check stock and reserve your items so that they're ready and waiting for you in-store.
Check & Reserve is available on all items marked 'Can be reserved'. If in stock, they will be available for immediate collection and held until the end of the next working day.
Any item not in stock at the store today can usually be ordered for you from our warehouse, to collect within 3 working days*.
How to Check & Reserve online
Step 1: Add to trolley
Click the 'Buy or Reserve' button to add the item(s) to your trolley.
Step 2: Choose to Reserve
In the trolley, select the 'Reserve for Store Pick-up' option.
Step 3: Check stock
We'll check if your chosen item(s) are in stock at your nearest store.
Step 4: Reserve
Enter your email address and your mobile phone number (if you’d like a free text message confirming your reservation details). You will then be given a unique number for your reservation.
Step 5: Collect & Pay
Take your reservation number to a till or quick pay qiosk in-store where you will be able to pay for and collect your item(s).![]()

Make sure you know the catalogue number(s) of the product(s) you wish to reserve and the number (3 or 4 digit code) of your local store, which you can find in our store locator or at the back of the Argos catalogue.

Text the catalogue number and store name or number with a space in-between (e.g. 5003727 Woking or 5003727 108). Store numbers can be found in our store locator or at the back of the Argos catalogue. Argos extra items can not be reserved by text at this time.
Back in stock alert – If item(s) are out of stock, you can request to be sent a text message when the item(s) come back into stock
