So how does it work?

1. Call Screwdriver Ltd direct on 0800 454 828
2. Have your catalogue number and product description ready so that Screwdriver can provide a quick and accurate home assembly quote for you.
3. Screwdriver will provide you with an instant fixed price assembly quote**
4. If you’d like to proceed, Screwdriver will agree a date and time for the assembly visit. Screwdriver will also provide you with an estimate of how long the job will take and a name of your Screwdriver professional so that you can check their ID card on arrival.
5. Screwdriver will arrive at your home and assemble your purchases in the room of your choice.
6. Once the job is complete, you will be contacted by Screwdriver to complete payment of your assembly*** (please note that payment will be made directly to Screwdriver Ltd for the assembly service, not Argos Ltd).

How much will it cost?

The assembly service fixed price quote is based on the time taken to assemble your purchases, and not based on the product’s price. Examples of assembly prices for some of our furniture are as follows:

Screwdriver have a minimum charge of £52.00 which only comes into effect on a single item of furniture purchased, taking 1 hour or less to assemble. All one-man assembly jobs incur a call out charge of £8. All two-man assembly jobs incur a call-out charge of £16

When is the service available?

Assembly times are usually between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday. On Saturday, 9-12.30pm. Screwdriver may be able to accommodate your assembly ‘out of hours’ – give them a call to find out more.
