Which type of printer is right for me?

Wireless printers

Using Wi-Fi technology, a wireless printer can print from your laptop or PC from across the room, or even from another room in the house.

All of our printers have the option to be used wirelessly with the exception of inkjet printers, so if you wish to be mobile and de-clutter your desk then opt for a laser, office inkjet or an all-in-one printer scanner copier.

Inkjet printers

For day-to-day printing of documents, inkjet printers are a great choice.

• Ideal for printing lots of photographs.
• Look for a printer with PictBridge - This technology allows you to
  connect the printer straight to your digital camera, so you can print pictures without using a computer. To use this technology your digital camera must also be PictBridge compatible.
• Replacement ink cartridges are simple to install when needed.
• As a single function printer it has a lower carbon footprint than all-in- one printers.

All-in-One printers (printer, scanner, copier)

As the name suggests, All-in-One printer, scanner, copiers, sometimes known as multi-function printers, don't just print, they scan and photocopy as well.

• Many of our All-in-One printers also include a fax.

Basic printing starts from 480x1200 DPI. A higher DPI means more detail and better print quality, important if you print lots of photos.

Laser printers

Ideal if you want to print lots of plain text documents. So if you're working in a small office from home or printing large essays for school or college, laser printers are a great option for you.

• Great for fast printing.
